Hiragana visualized学习平假名 Part 1

The first thing you see in your Japanese textbooks is definitely Hiragana. For those of us who have learnt Mandarin, you can think of Hiragana as Hanyupinyin. And for friends who are from English-speaking countries, Hiragana is like letters which if put together will form a word and Hiragana also tells you how to pronounce the word.

Needless to say, Hiragana is very very important and there is no way to escape from it because it's the building block for everything that is gonna come after (words and sentences).

Fun Facts:

  • It is developed from Chinese characters 平假名是由汉字演变而来

  • It was first created and developed by women working in the palace 片假名最早是由宫廷里的女官发明并使用

How to remember Hiragana:

For me I memorized the writing of all the Hiragana through repetitive writing exericses but this might not be a good method to learn and there should be better ways. Recently i came across an article that promotes the learning of Kanji (Japanese characters) through the use of visal images, which gave me the idea of using images for Hiragana as well . So, see for youself if this helps in memorizing Hiragana.I will think of the images for the rest of the Hiragana

使用图片学习平假名,让你的眼睛熟悉它们的写法。如果你觉得图片能够帮助你记住片假名,不妨用你的想象力为它们创造新的图案
