I bought a box of Hokkaido
What ? I rarely shop online, and when I do, it is on food. Ordered this set of Hokkaido agricultural products directly from the farm called "Farm Million" whose owner I have known through the Tokachi Food Fair in Singapore. This set contains two bottles of Reddish pickles(大根アベベ漬け）, four jars of red pepper Miso with four different flavours (なんばん味噌), Soy-sauce marinated Yama-Wasabi (山わさび醤油漬け）, two bottles of Shiso juice (赤紫蘇ジュース）
How Much? ¥4000 (inclusive of tax and delivery from Hokkaido )

Who is "Farm Million"? It is a privately owned farm-cum-company founded by Mr Kikuchi. I first came to know him when I was working at the Tokachi Food Fair in Singapore which his farm took part as well. Other than specialising in making fermented Black Garlic (黒にんにく), he is super duper good at cooking so I read that the Miso was made by him, i bought it without hesitation.
Why this project? As some of you might be aware of this, Hokkaido Tokachi City was hit by typhoon around September this year and brought about massive damage to the city and Memuro town, especially to the farmers, including their land and agricultural crops. Therefore, this project was created for people (not only the Japanese) to show their support for Tokachi and wish them a smooth and speedy recovery from the damage.
